Good tea and fantastic macarons are served with warm service at a great location. It’s a such a good time to enjoy the tea and macaron outside in the fall.
This place really takes the idea of tea blends and elevates it to the next level. Consistently amazing tea and tea lattes here. Plus, they switch up the menu seasonally, so there always seems to be a fresh variety.
Smith tea also has a nice list of traditional teas if that is your preference. It can be a lot of fun to get a tea flight and experience a variety of flavors.
Both the west and Eastside locations are fantastic. Highly recommend.
Nice place, very cute interior setting. Great discussion around teas and processing styles. The tea is all pre-bagged in satchels, not in "loose-leaf" style. Also there are no teas from The Americas not even Brazilian grown Sencha nor Yerba Mate. They do have an African Rooibos though, and have some Peppermint. Great place for a tea enthusiast or to listen to some chill music while up on 23rd. I believe that they have ceramic for in-house drinking options. Try the Matcha!
No food menu, just a pastry or two. I was glad they had a scrumptious savory everything pastry. They do have tea flights paired with toasted s'mores or macaroons that I want to try. The matcha I got was not very sweet, perfectly made. My partner got the nitro chai tea and it was incredible. A good space to work for a while.
Came here a couple of days for the first time. The lady that helped me was very nice and helpful. Well today I wanted some tea. I came back because of the service. Today I had a weird vibe about the bearded guy with glasses. He came across not very inviting. Placed my order with a pop tart. I asked for a to go cup because I wasn’t going to drink all of it. Anyway I’m sitting in the corner enjoying my pop tart. 5 minutes pass as my tea is done. He puts my tea on the front counter saying my tea was finished when he could of easily taken 6 steps and gave it to me being I was sitting down and enjoying reading. The pic shows how far he had to walk. While enjoying my self he does deliver tea others sitting at a table.
This is newly opened in the NW 23rd area. They offer a good selection on teas and also some baked goods and small breakfast style dishes. The matcha croissant was perfect as the inside of the croissant was nice and fluffy in the inside with the matcha on the exterior. The Everything Avocado Toast was very pleasing to look at, but ended up being slightly messy to eat (might just be me). The Blueberry tea lemonade was money! I could drink this all day.
Great teas! Nice to stop in on a hot day for an icy mocktail. Get it to go as the inside is quaint but simple.
Tried Smith tea for the first time at another restaurant, and then had to go to the shop. We ended up having lunch there. We had the beet poke and the avacado toast. The beet poke was so flavorful my body did the happy dance for taste and health.
